Middle School Youth Group (EPIC – Endless Possibilities In Christ)

Saint Brigid of Kildare welcomed the start of a new Middle School Youth Group, designed for 7th and 8th grade students in the parish and Saint Brigid of Kildare School during the 2014-15 school year. We are now getting ready to begin our 3rd year.

EPIC 2016-2017

The Group meets once a month for faith, fun, fellowship and service.  Members attend Mass as a group, then meet in Hendricks Hall for prayer and pizza, followed by activities and service, either on-site or locally.  These service opportunities help them to meet their Confirmation requirement of 25 hours (or more) with their friends in an organized environment, and demonstrate a diversity of ways they can contribute to society and further God’s kingdom on earth.  The program also helps students to build community among their peers and be active members of the community of St. Brigid, their second home.

For more information, contact Kim VanHuffel at kvanhuff@alumni.nd.edu or 593-5173.

In order to accomplish all that we offer, we need our volunteers to be in compliance with the Safe Environment Program. Volunteers must be a minimum of 18 years old and must complete PGC (Protecting God’s Children) and be fingerprinted.

Volunteer drivers must be a minimum of 25 years old and have other forms to complete as well — click here for more information and all the forms you need.
