Advent by Candelight 2021
Welcome back to Advent by Candlelight! Family First and the ABC planning committee are excited to announce that we will be offering not just one night, but two evenings of fellowship for the women of our parish! Whether this will be your first experience or you’re a veteran table host, save the date of Friday, November 19, 2021. Registration opens below on Tuesday, October 26 at 9 a.m.
Advent by Candlelight is an annual event designed for the Catholic women of our parish to gather together and prayerfully commence the Advent and Christmas seasons. With the theme of “Love Came Down” this year’s program will begin with time for women to mingle and enjoy drinks, appetizers and desserts. Throughout the rest of the evening, attendees will be inspired by prayer, reflections and a special presentation to . Keynote speaker Meg Hunter-Kilmer, Catholic writer and “Hobo for Christ”, will highlight the event. And the night wouldn’t be complete without a candle-light ceremony.
Upon registering you will be asked to either host a table of up to six guests or be seated at an open table. Table hostesses are asked to provide their guests’ names, decorate their table, provide wine, and delegate who amongst her group will bring appetizers and desserts. We strongly encourage table hosts to have their guests’ names prepared prior to registration day.
