Saint Brigid of Kildare School Named Blue Ribbon School

Saint Brigid of Kildare School is excited to announce its third National Blue Ribbon School award (2021, 2014, 2008), which recognizes our parish school’s commitment to academic achievement, community service, instructional best practices, and professional development. St. Brigid School again received the award in the high-performing schools category, which recognizes schools that have achieved among the highest scores in both reading and math as measured by state or national standard tests in the most recent year tested, as well as have demonstrated excellence in their mission, curriculum, instructional methods, and professional development. Schools are only eligible to apply for this award every five years, and St. Brigid is excited to be the only school in Ohio to receive a third National Blue Ribbon School Award in the last 15 years.
Our school is grateful for the support of our parish family over the past twenty-five years. Because of that support, we are able to offer our children a school of academic excellence within a framework of traditional Catholic values, and a school where teachers work tirelessly to provide unconditional love, support, and clear and consistent guidance and expectations for both learning and behavior. We are entirely grateful to be a part of a Catholic community that nurtures children and allows their Catholic faith to flourish.
“These times call us even more strongly to our Catholic faith, to our mission, and to the historic foundation of American parish elementary schools upon which we stand. At St. Brigid, we provide our children the highest quality of academic excellence with an authentic integration of the Catholic faith and Catholic values,” says Monsignor Hendricks.
At 11:00 EST on Wednesday, September 22nd, a video of the  Secretary’s announcement of the 2021 National Blue Ribbon Schools will be posted online. You may access the announcement at this link.
