Tapestry Offertory Program

Support St. Brigid of Kildare by making a pledge to our annual Tapestry Offertory Program, Many Strands, One Parish.

Tapestry – Many Strands, One Parish is the combination of the giving of Time, Talent and Treasure.  For the last 20 plus years St. Brigid of Kildare has encouraged the involvement of all parishioners in the communal and spiritual life of our parish by donating their time, talent and treasure each year.  We ask that you make a commitment of volunteering for one of our 58 plus committees and ministries and by making a pledge to our offertory.  The Tapestry Program helps our parish grow as a faith family.  To learn more about volunteering at St. Brigid of Kildare please click here.

Please consider supporting our parish offertory by making a donation through our Tapestry Program.

Annual Offertory Commitment

In order to make things convenient for our parishioners, we offer several giving options:

  • Electronic Giving: The most efficient and most frequently used method is through electronic giving, which allows us to charge your credit card or draw from your checking or savings account on a recurring basis.  You designate the amount and frequency and we set it up for you.  Please click on the Tapestry button to register.

  • Traditional Sunday Envelopes will be mailed to you each month. You simply drop them in the offertory basket when you come to Mass.  Contact the parish office to request envelopes.

  • Billing Option allows us to send you monthly, quarterly or annual reminders to send in your pledge amount. Your donation can be made online using the One-Time Donation button or via check mailed to St Brigid of Kildare, PO Box 3130, Dublin OH 43016.  Contact Jackie Mack at jmack@stbrigidofkildare.org or call 614-761-3734 ext 247 to request the Billing Option.

Memorial/Honor Gifts

You can celebrate a significant occasion, remember a loved one, commemorate a milestone or recognize someone special with an honorary or memorial gift in their name to St. Brigid of Kildare.

Many of our parishioners choose to designate donations to St. Brigid of Kildare instead of flowers for their loved ones. Whether you make your gift online or by mail we will gratefully acknowledge your thoughtful donation by notifying the person or family member you designate with an acknowledgment letter.

Click the “Memorial Donation” button above to give online.

Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 3130, Dublin, OH 43016.

Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund

What is the Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund?

The Diocesan Education Corporation (DEC), a scholarship granting organization (SGO), is doing business as Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund.  DEC was the first organization in the state of Ohio to be certified as an SGO by the Ohio Attorney General. This fund benefits students in the Diocese of Columbus Catholic schools.

What is an SGO?
Ohio law defines a “scholarship granting organization” as an organization certified by the Ohio Attorney General as satisfying three criteria. First, it must be a religious or non-religious charitable organization with 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. Second, it must primarily award academic scholarships to primary and secondary school students. Third, it must prioritize awarding scholarships to low-income primary and secondary school students. The organization must also comply with all applicable registration and reporting requirements with the Ohio Attorney General in order to be certified.

Planned Giving: Mary of the Gael Society

The Society recognizes those individuals that have notified St. Brigid of Kildare Parish that they have made a planned gift or established an endowment that benefits the parish.

The Mary of the Gael Society provides a way through a planned gift or endowment that you can ensure that the parish will be preserved for future Catholics and their families. Creating an endowment will also allow you and your family to specifically designate how all funds are used. Whether it’s through a scholarship, funding teacher enrichment, sponsoring a certain ministry or just general operating funds for the parish you can guarantee in perpetuity that your wishes are followed.

You can become a member of the Mary of the Gael Society by making a planned gift or establishing an endowment that benefits St. Brigid of Kildare Parish. For more information, please contact Sarah Moore, Parish Development Director, at sarahmoore00@hotmail.com or 761-3734.

This gift may take on many forms:

  • Bequest/Wills (the most common means of providing substantial support to St. Brigid of Kildare beyond a gift of capital in your lifetime is to leave a bequest from your estate.)
  • Life Income Agreements
  • Charitable Trusts (remainder unit rust, lead), Gift Annuities, and St. Brigid of Kildare Life Income Agreements
  • Life Insurance
  • Endowments
