Ash Wednesday Food Drive
The Social Action Committee will be collecting non-perishable items on Ash Wednesday (February 18) and the following weekend (February 21-22). Donations can be dropped off at Hendricks Hall around all Masses on those days or placed in the Collection closet in Hendricks Hall throughout the week.
Bishop Griffin Resource Center will again be the recipient of the collection. This food pantry continues to serve over 800 families weekly. While all items are appreciated, the following are of greater need:
canned tomatoes
cereal (various)
laundry detergent (pods or liquid)
cooking oil (no larger than 33.8 ounces)
The need in the community remains high and your donations help families and the elderly. Thanks for your continued support.
