Tapestry Offertory Program
Support St. Brigid of Kildare by making a pledge to our annual Tapestry Offertory Program, Many Strands, One Parish.
Tapestry – Many Strands, One Parish is the combination of the giving of Time, Talent and Treasure. For the last 20 plus years St. Brigid of Kildare has encouraged the involvement of all parishioners in the communal and spiritual life of our parish by donating their time, talent and treasure each year. We ask that you make a commitment of volunteering for one of our 58 plus committees and ministries and by making a pledge to our offertory. The Tapestry Program helps our parish grow as a faith family. To learn more about volunteering at St. Brigid of Kildare please click here.

Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund
What is the Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund?
The Diocesan Education Corporation (DEC), a scholarship granting organization (SGO), is doing business as Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund. DEC was the first organization in the state of Ohio to be certified as an SGO by the Ohio Attorney General. This fund benefits students in the Diocese of Columbus Catholic schools.
What is an SGO?
Ohio law defines a “scholarship granting organization” as an organization certified by the Ohio Attorney General as satisfying three criteria. First, it must be a religious or non-religious charitable organization with 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. Second, it must primarily award academic scholarships to primary and secondary school students. Third, it must prioritize awarding scholarships to low-income primary and secondary school students. The organization must also comply with all applicable registration and reporting requirements with the Ohio Attorney General in order to be certified.
Planned Giving: Mary of the Gael Society
The Society recognizes those individuals that have notified St. Brigid of Kildare Parish that they have made a planned gift or established an endowment that benefits the parish.
The Mary of the Gael Society provides a way through a planned gift or endowment that you can ensure that the parish will be preserved for future Catholics and their families. Creating an endowment will also allow you and your family to specifically designate how all funds are used. Whether it’s through a scholarship, funding teacher enrichment, sponsoring a certain ministry or just general operating funds for the parish you can guarantee in perpetuity that your wishes are followed.
You can become a member of the Mary of the Gael Society by making a planned gift or establishing an endowment that benefits St. Brigid of Kildare Parish. For more information, please contact Sarah Moore, Parish Development Director, at sarahmoore00@hotmail.com or 761-3734.
This gift may take on many forms:
- Bequest/Wills (the most common means of providing substantial support to St. Brigid of Kildare beyond a gift of capital in your lifetime is to leave a bequest from your estate.)
- Life Income Agreements
- Charitable Trusts (remainder unit rust, lead), Gift Annuities, and St. Brigid of Kildare Life Income Agreements
- Life Insurance
- Endowments
